DeFell brings over a decade of legal practice to individuals, businesses, and creatives seeking clear, practical, and effective solutions. Her legal work spans general practice areas, including contracts, negotiations, labor and employment matters, business formation, and advisory support for clients navigating high-stakes decisions. She is known for translating complex issues into actionable guidance, helping clients move forward with confidence and clarity.

A 30+ Year Career in Labor Strategy & Leadership

Separate from her legal practice, DeFell brings over three decades of experience in labor relations, healthcare operations, government administration, organizational leadership, and conflict resolution. She has served as a senior executive navigating complex unionized environments, economic strategy, and politically sensitive negotiations across major public-sector and healthcare systems. This depth of experience uniquely positions her to guide clients through situations where law, policy, people, and strategy intersect.

A Decade in Sports & Entertainment Representation

Before transitioning fully into executive leadership, DeFell spent 10 years representing talent in the sports and entertainment industries. From 2008–2016 she served as an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, representing athletes and managing multimillion-dollar negotiations with integrity and precision. She has advised high-profile talent in music, film, publishing, and professional sports, bringing discretion, strategic rigor, and a deeply human approach to every deal.
